DESCRIPTION:Doors: 11:30 am | Performance: 12:00 pm \nAll performances are open to the public. \nFREE ADMISSION – No registration required. \nBring your own “brown bag” lunch\, or purchase lunches available for purchase. Open to all ages.  \nDon’t miss this opportunity to experience the artistry of a true master of the organ! \nMechanics Hall Organ Performance Series \n\nJoin us for a remarkable performance by Italian organist Salvatore Pronestì on The Worcester Organ as part of the Organ Performance Series. \nProduced by Mechanics Hall and the Worcester Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.  \nBoth an organist and organ builder\, Salvatore Pronestì is known for his elegant playing from the organ repertory as well as convincing orchestral transcriptions and imaginative improvisations.  \nHe studied organ with Luigi Celeghin and attended the Institute of Paleography and Musical Philology at the University of Pavia\, Cremona.   \nHe is titolare at Bottega Organaria de Salvatore Pronesti and is regularly invited to several prestigious conferences as an expert speaker in Organology and construction methods of the Italian Organ building tradition.   \nHe concertizes extensively in Europe and the Americas and\, among other prestigious posts is Artistic Director of the International Organ Festival at the Pantheon\, Rome\, Italy.  \n\nWe thank the supporters of the Organ Performance Series
