Beautifully choreographed\, Anchored inspires audiences today with its portrayal of the courage and faith of the Pilgrims\, their perilous crossing\, and their friendship which developed with Native Americans. Their legacy of religious freedom\, individual responsibility\, and equality of all people helped prepare the way for America’s independence. \nPassion\, artistry\, heartfelt worship and technical excellence define Ballet Magnificat!’s performances. The Company artists have graced stages of theaters\, opera houses\, concert halls\, and church auditoriums throughout America and Europe with their powerful portrayal of redemptive themes\, inspired by true-life stories. Anchored: The Pilgrim Story is an original work created to honor the 400th Anniversary of the Pilgrims and their lasting legacy which informed our Founding Fathers and the Declaration of Independence. Appearing across the United States\, Europe\, Asia\, Canada\, and South Africa\, she is a laureate of the Montreal International\, Queen Elisabeth\, UNISA\, Washington International\, and Schadt violin competitions. Show More \nEqually at ease as a soloist\, recitalist\, and chamber musician\, Muresanu tours internationally with projects that build cultural bridges and reimagine the concert experience. She has commissioned and premiered numerous works written especially for her. Her recent recordings with Métier showcase acclaimed Romanian composers Violeta Dinescu and Dan Dediu. In a continued commitment to the music of her homeland\, Muresanu is currently developing a platform that will provide musicians and the wider public with access to scores and recordings of violin works by Romanian composers.\nMuresanu’s 2026–27 season features the world premiere of Hattak Hiloha (Thunder Beings)\, a work she commissioned from Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate\, which represents the first violin concerto inspired by American Indian music. The orchestra is committed to several local performances each year and is engaged in discussions with several local groups about potential collaborative programming. Roderick MacDonald has been the orchestra’s music director since 2014.
