Weddings & Family Celebrations

Mechanics Hall is an historic facility that exudes timeless elegance while offering space that allows for an intimate affair for family and friends or dinner and dancing for 400. To ensure you are the center of our attention, we book no other events on your wedding day. All of our attention is focused on you and your guests, creating a wedding day to remember. From the early planning stages to the big event, our staff is there to assist every step of the way. Your job is to relax and enjoy the romance of your wedding day.

Every Mechanics Hall wedding is uniquely customized. Our bridal couples choose their vendors-from caterers to florists to musicians or DJs-reflecting each couple's own vision and budget. Photographers can orchestrate photo sessions on the grand staircases, at the pedestal of our historic Hook pipe organ, and in the Boyden Salon or Waldo Lobby. We offer an enchanted venue and a virtually unlimited ability to meet your most cherished desires.

The Great Hall offers an exquisite space for ceremonies and for receptions, with its open dance floor, thrust stage, concert grand pianos, 3,504-pipe Hook organ, and a full range of sound and lighting accents.

The wedding couple and the entire wedding party have a selection of several private rooms for respite, dressing or even snacking between the ceremony and the reception festivities. We also have spaces suitable for children to view videos or play away from the main event.

Our staff is knowledgeable and experienced in wedding traditions from around the globe, and we welcome the opportunity to meet your expectations.

For more information about hosting your wedding or family celebration please email us at events@mechanicshall.org or call 508-752-5608.
