Presented by Many Voices: Mechanics Hall Youth Singers
Join Many Voices: Mechanics Hall Youth Singers for Discover Mechanics Hall, a free family-friendly afternoon for new and returning singers in grades 4–8. Through music, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations, families will explore the musical world of Mechanics Hall while discovering what makes Many Voices a welcoming place to grow, learn, and belong.
Families will have the opportunity to meet the Many Voices team, learn about the upcoming season, ask questions, and complete registration on site. Youth will also be invited to take part in a welcoming singing activity and experience the excitement of raising their voices in Mechanics Hall.
What to Expect:
- Welcome and multimedia introduction to Mechanics Hall
- Explore hands-on music activities, including rhythm and instrument experiences
- Experience the magnificent Worcester Organ in the Great Hall
- Sing alongside current Many Voices members during an interactive vocal activity
- Add your voice to our Many Voices community display
- Meet current singers, families, and staff
- Learn about the upcoming season and register on site
- Gather for a group photo on the Great Hall stage
Many Voices is a free, inclusive youth choir program for students in grades 4–8 from across Worcester County. No previous singing experience is required. Students only need a love of music, curiosity, and a willingness to be part of a welcoming community.
