Manny 267 Legacy Gala
Event Snapshot
This event celebrates and honors the heroes among us while also raising necessary funds to support the Manny 267 Foundation. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community, recognize the bravery and contributions of remarkable individuals, and support a worthy cause. Join us in making a difference and paying tribute to those who inspire us all.
The Manny 267 Foundation was born from tragedy but fueled by hope and determination to save lives. Established in honor of Officer Enmanuel “Manny” Familia, who heroically sacrificed his life attempting to rescue a drowning teenager in Worcester, MA, on June 4, 2021, the foundation is dedicated to preventing similar tragedies nationwide. With drowning being a leading cause of accidental death in the United States, claiming an average of 10 lives daily, the Manny 267 Foundation focuses on three critical areas: equipping police departments with life-saving Manny Tubes, providing water safety training for officers, and offering swimming lessons to children in underserved communities. By distributing specialized flotation devices, named after Manny’s badge number 267, and promoting water safety education, the foundation aims to equip every police department in the nation with the tools and knowledge to respond effectively to water emergencies. Through these efforts, the Manny 267 Foundation continues Officer Familia’s legacy of service and sacrifice, working tirelessly to create safer communities and prevent future drowning incidents.

Reviews of Mechanics Hall
The acoustics are great! You can hear everything on stage clear as day and great views.
It's a beautiful experience!
Hard to think of this amazing architecture in the heart of Worcester - it could be in any city around the world. The staff was so friendly and professional. I felt like I was stepping back into another year, very charming and elegant.
Highly recommend going there for a concert and some it's very similar to Symphany Hall in Boston there are no bad seats. We have been there twice with the last time seeing the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra
