Music Worcester Presents The Sebastians: Brandenburg Concertos

Part of Bach’s Birthday Bash Weekend, The Sebastians bring razor-sharp precision and expressive depth to music of the Baroque and Classical eras. Acclaimed for their beautifully nuanced playing and engaging, self-directed performances, this period instrument ensemble delivers historically informed interpretations that feel vibrant, immediate, and alive.

These six concertos are among the most well known concertos that survive from the Baroque Era. Headlining Bach’s Birthday Bash, the orchestra performs the six Brandenburg Concertos (or as they were originally named, Concerts avec plusieurs Instruments) with its four core members as soloists.
