School Celebrations
Mechanics Hall is expert at hosting high school proms and collegiate celebrations. Our packages include catered buffet or plated dinners, beverage service, and security. Our caterers are experienced with food allergy issues and provide safe options. Young revelers will enjoy their special night in the elegance of our 19th century hall in a well-secured environment. The Great Hall on the third level is ideal for celebrations with 450 guests and Washburn Hall on the second level is ideal for proms with 200 guests.

Awards Events
Awards events of all kinds take place in our Great Hall on the third level and in Washburn Hall on the second level. Both rooms offer staging that accommodates speakers and recognition activities. Both spaces can accommodate theater or dinner seating. The Great Hall is ideal for up to 1600 theatre seating including the balcony and up to 500 dinner seating and Washburn Hall is ideal for up to 325 theatre seating, 250 dinner seating, and 500 reception style.

Graduations
The Great Hall offers an unforgettable elegant space for pomp and circumstance and has hosted high school and collegiate commencement ceremonies for up to 1400. The flexible staging offers various seating arrangements for graduates, faculty and guests. Processionals are impressive and inspiring. The Worcester Organ, which dominates the center stage, is often used for accompaniment.
