September 24 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Artist: Albino Mbie
From a handmade guitar built out of scrap materials in Maputo to international acclaim on the global stage, Albino Mbie’s journey is as powerful as his music.
Born in Mozambique and now based in Boston, Albino blends Afro-pop, Moz-Jazz, and contemporary global influences into a sound that is entirely his own. A Berklee College of Music graduate and alum of the prestigious Global Jazz Institute, he has studied under some of the most influential voices in modern jazz while staying deeply rooted in the rhythms and traditions of his homeland.
His award-winning debut Mozambican Dance introduced the world to a bold new voice in contemporary world music, earning international songwriting recognition and critical acclaim.
