Dance Prism’s Nutcracker brings holiday magic to life with sparkling battling soldiers, a towering Christmas tree, and Tchaikovsky’s timeless ballet. This beloved tradition delights audiences of all ages with professional staging and enchanting choreography. After each performance, families are invited to a special photo opportunity with Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy — a memory children will treasure for years.

Mechanics Hall is not just where the event takes place. It is part of the experience. What's more, Mechanics Hall is conveniently located within walking distance from many downtown locations including restaurants and bars.
Accessibility
Accessible Entrance
The barrier-free entrance to the building is located on Waldo Street. Elevators are located in the ground-floor lobby and provide access to the second and third floors. There is no elevator access to the Great Hall balcony.
Accessible Halls
All of our halls are wheelchair-accessible, where patrons can remain in their wheelchairs or transfer to theater seats. Patrons who cannot or do not wish to transfer from their wheelchairs to a theater seat should request wheelchair-seat locations when ordering tickets. The Great Hall balcony is not wheel-chair accessible.

Completed in 1857, with a unique organ installed ca.1864, this concert and assembly venue continues to serve as a vital resource for the City of Worcester and its cultural communities. An accessible venue for physically handicapped persons.
